Are you a theatre enthusiast who loves being in the spotlight? The Hanover Theatre, in partnership with WCRN 830AM, has launched the first Red Carpet Reporter Contest. We’re looking for outgoing and articulate individuals who can mingle with attendees and collect their feedback on the upcoming Broadway productions in the 2014-15 season.

We kick off the contest this week, featuring Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. One lucky winner will be chosen to cover the Friday evening performance on October 31 at 8PM. They’ll enjoy the royal treatment with hair and makeup, dinner for two, limo transportation, and tickets to the show. The winner will also hear their official red carpet report on Behind the Scenes with The Hanover Theatre the following day on WCRN AM830 between 1PM-2PM.

Live auditions will be held on Thursday, April 24 from 11AM-5PM at  WCRN Studios and Friday, April 25 from 11AM-7PM at The Mall at Whitney Field. Audition videos (no longer than 60 seconds) can also be submitted to chris@wcrnradio.com.

Locations:
WCRN 830AM Studio- 82 Franklin Street in downtown Worcester
The Mall at Whitney Field- 100 Commercial Rd, Leominster

Videos of the three finalists will be featured during the 2014-15 Broadway Preview Party, held on Thursday, May 1 from 5PM-7PM. One lucky winner will be announced as the official red carpet reporter, based on audience voting results.

The Red Carpet Reporter continues all summer-long in search for additional reporters for the remainder of the Broadway shows. Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and check back with our blog for new updates on additional Red Carpet Reporter auditions later this spring and summer!
